Day Three - Nov. 29
We all have read to at least Chapter 20 by now, which is an excellent place in the book.
A few questions have been posted on the discussions forum.
Today when we meet at http://todaysmeet.com/millionmiles let's discuss the following:
I'd also like us to try to persuade Donald Miller, the author of A Million Miles in a Thousand Years, to join us for a Skype conversation or even a Twitter dialogue. I'd like you to send some tweets to Miller (@donaldmiller) asking him a question, making a comment, etc. Include the hashtag #ffpBookClub and hopefully, he'll respond and we can start a dialogue with him.

Today when we meet at http://todaysmeet.com/millionmiles let's discuss the following:
- Miller talks about the work it takes to live a good story, are there times in your life when you can didn't want to do the work necessary to live the life you wanted?
- "A general rule about creating stories is that characters don't want to change." How is this quote personified in your life? Are you someone who embraces change? Why or why not?
- An inciting incident is "a doorway which the protagonist cannot return". Have you had any inciting incidents? Are there any on the horizons? What conditions need to be in place before we walk through the door?
- Miller has a tendency to reference many other books within this book, how does that enhance/detract from his book? Is this something you can do regularly? What kind of allusions do you make and what impact do they have?
